Then click the “New Meeting” button in the “New” group on the “Home” tab in the Ribbon.
To plan a meeting in Outlook, open the Calendar folder. In the future, you can open the meeting request in your Calendar to view their responses. The response they send is then recorded and saved by Outlook. The recipients of your meeting request receive an email message in which they must click a button to show if they are attending.
These are called “Meeting Request” items.
